The Regional Government of Biscay and the Ibero-American Association of Research Centers and Telecommunication Enterprises invite you to participate in the XII Ibero-American Congress of Digital Cities that will be held on the 28th, 29th and 30th of September in Bilbao, Biscay, Spain.
This edition of the XII Ibero-American Congress of Digital Cities will use the theme “The Digital City as a space for innovation and knowledge” for social, financial and personal development of citizens.
This event, which is the most important worldwide reference of its kind in Spanish, will gather over 2,000 experts who will share their points of view during the conferences and will participate in the debates, colloquium and roundtables. This makes the attendance to this congress essential for all those people who are interested in Electronic Administration.
The XII Ibero-American Congress of Digital Cities will take place in the Euskalduna Conference Center and Concert Hall (www.euskalduna.net), a modern space near the Guggenheim Museum and that has received numerous prizes, among them “World´s Best Congress Center” in 2003.
During the Conference the VII Ibero-American Digital City Awards will be granted in five categories. As a new feature this year, the winners will go on the 2011 Connectivity Tour that will take them through some municipalities in Biscay, where they will be able to learn more about their best practices in electronic government.
